Bardolino Freddo returns between Bardolino and Lazise

Bardolino Freddo returns to Bardolino and Lazise from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026. The third edition includes tastings of chilled Bardolino Classico DOC, music, performances, food and walks through vineyards and olive groves, with activities spread along the lakeside promenades and in the parks of both towns.

The event is promoted by the municipalities of Bardolino and Lazise and by Fondazione Bardolino Top, with the patronage of the Veneto Region and the Bardolino Wines Consortium. The official opening is scheduled for Friday 28 August at 6.30 p.m. in the park of Villa Carrara Bottagisio in Bardolino. The ribbon-cutting will take place in the presence of mayors Daniele Bertasi and Damiano Bergamini, followed by the inaugural toast.

In Bardolino, the programme will involve Lungolago Cornicello and Carrara Bottagisio Park. On Friday morning, a guided walk, “Among vineyards and olive groves”, will end with a tasting at a winery. In the evening there will be musical aperitifs, the Italian Opera Concert in the Sala della Disciplina and a show dedicated to the film soundtracks of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.

On Saturday, the route through vineyards and olive groves will include a tasting of typical zero-kilometre products. The lakeside promenade will host the creative artisans of the AMA association, local wineries and live music. At 8.30 p.m., Carrara Bottagisio Park will host the operetta gala “The Lip is Silent… but the Glass Toasts”, a lyrical-theatrical performance with Katia Ricciarelli.

On Sunday, the programme features the tasting “Grape Varieties from the Past for the Red and Chilled Wines of the Future”, organised by the La Soca association, and a funk-soul concert by Zoe Safari. In Lazise, on Lungolago Marconi, Metro Cadillac will perform on Friday, Terra Sonora on Saturday and Trio Fantasy on Sunday.

The food programme will include risottos from the Isola della Scala Fair Authority, specialities from the Vigasio Polenta Fair and products made with Pesca di Verona PGI peaches, with the participation of several restaurants in Lazise’s historic centre. Admission is free; the official tasting kit must be purchased from the participating wineries.
