Sport Day returns to Montichiari: Saturday afternoon at Centro San Filippo
Sport Day will take place on Saturday, September 5, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Centro San Filippo in Montichiari, offering children, adults and families the chance to discover local sports clubs.
Centro San Filippo, at 2A Via Allende in Montichiari, will host Sport Day on Saturday, September 5, from 3 to 6 p.m. The event is dedicated to local sports associations and is open to children, adults and families. It is promoted by La Nuvola nel Sacco cooperative and the Generazioni Montichiari project, with the patronage of the Municipality of Montichiari. Admission is free.
Throughout the afternoon, visitors will be able to meet around twenty sports organisations and try a range of disciplines, from martial arts and football to basketball, volleyball, fencing and dance, as well as rugby and athletics. The aim is to give participants an opportunity to learn about the associations, talk with volunteers and find the sport that best matches their interests.
The event will open with greetings from Sports Councillor Guido Lanfranchi, who will visit the participating clubs together with their volunteers in a moment of thanks for the work they carry out in the city. Sport Day has been held for several years and is included in the Estate Monteclarense programme.
