Free admission to MAG on 6 September with #domenicaalmuseo
On Sunday 6 September, from 10 am to 6 pm, MAG Museo Alto Garda in Riva del Garda will offer free admission to all visitors as part of the ministerial #domenicaalmuseo initiative.
On Sunday 6 September, from 10 am to 6 pm, MAG Museo Alto Garda in Riva del Garda will take part in the ministerial #domenicaalmuseo initiative, offering free admission to all visitors. All three floors of the museum, together with the temporary exhibitions currently on show, will be accessible free of charge.
Visitors will be able to see “Visit Lake Garda. Graphics and promotion from the Belle Époque to modern tourism” and “Baricentri. Urban identities of the 2 Giugno and Degasperi neighbourhoods”, a photography exhibition devoted to the memory and identity of two areas of Riva del Garda, on display until 20 September.
“Baricentri” offers views of the city’s everyday places, including architecture, thresholds, shared spaces, memories and contradictions, presenting Riva del Garda as a lived-in space beyond its tourist image.
The visit can be enhanced by the museum’s new app, which contains background information and previously unpublished content. Accessibility routes are also available, designed to explore the collections through a multisensory experience that engages touch as well as sight.
Free admission is available on Sunday 6 September from 10 am to 6 pm at MAG Museo Alto Garda in Riva del Garda.
