Drinking water ban lifted in Braila, Carobbi and Troiana

Tap water can once again be used normally in Braila, Carobbi and Troiana, localities in the municipality of Arco near northern Lake Garda, after the test values returned within the permitted parameters. Direct human consumption of water supplied by the public network is once again allowed in all three localities.

The verification led to the revocation of the urgent emergency order issued on 16 August. That order had prohibited the use of the water for drinking and direct human consumption unless it was first boiled. The restriction has therefore ended, and the water may be consumed without taking special precautions. The revocation was announced by the Municipality of Arco.
