On Sunday, August 30, Barbara De Rossi will star in “Made in Italy. Italy through monologues, songs and memories” in the courtyard of Palazzo Pastore in Castiglione delle Stiviere.
On Sunday, August 30, at 9 p.m., Barbara De Rossi will star in “Made in Italy. Italy through monologues, songs and memories” in the courtyard of Palazzo Pastore in Castiglione delle Stiviere, a town in the province of Mantua. The performance is the final show in the summer programme. Admission is free.
Written by David Norisco and directed by Francesco Branchetti, the production offers a poetic and musical journey through landscapes, memories, traditions and places that are symbols of Italian history. The actress’s narration intertwines with live music and visual projections, creating a theatrical experience in which words, sound and images remain in constant dialogue.
“Made in Italy” explores the meaning of belonging and the value of one’s roots in an increasingly globalised world. Barbara De Rossi leads the audience into a reflection on the beauty preserved in the places, stories and emotions that define a community.
The Orchestra Filarmonica will take part in the performance, together with Samanta Chieffallo, Margherita Pelanda and Daniela Savoldi. The video art is by Emanuele Rossi. The event brings the summer programme to a close in the centre of Castiglione delle Stiviere.
