The book will be presented in Maderno on Wednesday, September 2, at 8:30 p.m. by Giuseppe Fusari, writer, priest and art historian, in the open-air “salon” in Via Benamati, in the area of the former ACLI facility. The author, an academic of the Ateneo di Brescia, a lecturer in Art History at the Università Cattolica and director of the Diocesan Museum of Brescia for ten years, will discuss his first novel, “I morti non mi sono mai piaciuti”, winner of the seventh edition of the Premio Neri Pozza.

The novel is a mystery story in which art and intrigue become intertwined after the murder of an art historian, who is found dead just a few hours after the opening of an exhibition. Commissioner Amedeo Alessandri investigates a world of forgeries, secrets and old wounds, while also confronting his own past. Roberta Ghirardi will speak with Fusari. Admission is free until all seats are filled; in case of bad weather, the event will be held at Palazzo Benamati.
