SouthGardaBike Experience: start and finish in Desenzano on 30 August
The SouthGardaBike Experience will take place on Sunday 30 August, starting and finishing in Desenzano del Garda on Lake Garda, with a cycling route through the lake area and the surrounding morainic hills.
The SouthGardaBike Experience will take place on Sunday 30 August, starting and finishing in Desenzano del Garda on Lake Garda. The cycling route will run between the lake and the morainic hills. Organised by P.M. Sport, the event combines a sporting experience with the discovery of local roads, landscapes, villages and traditional regional products.
Participants can choose between three routes with different lengths and elevation gains: 55 kilometres with 800 metres of elevation gain, 75 kilometres with 1,100 metres, or 105 kilometres with 1,450 metres. The different options allow riders to tackle the route according to their level of preparation, crossing a landscape marked by vineyards, rural areas and views over Lake Garda.
The event is designed to highlight the relationship between cycling and the surrounding area. The bicycle becomes a way to reach small towns and travel along roads immersed in nature, with stops also dedicated to discovering local products.
Desenzano del Garda on Lake Garda will be the main venue for the event, serving as both the starting point and the finish. Registration is still open in the final days before the event, ahead of 30 August.
