The first release of registrations for the 2027 Colnago Lake Garda Cycling Festival sold out all available race numbers within a few hours. The event is scheduled to take place on Lake Garda from 9 to 11 April 2027 and is preparing for an edition expected to attract particularly strong international participation.
Requests to join the festival came from numerous countries. The announcement reports that participants from 19 nations have already been confirmed, including Italy, the United States, Australia, Germany, Austria, Poland, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Ukraine, Greece, the Netherlands and Lithuania. Russia also appears twice in the list.
The response recorded during the first registration phase is linked to growing international interest in Lake Garda as a destination for a weekend devoted to cycling and the local area.
To maintain balanced and inclusive international participation, race numbers in 2027 will be limited by nation and by Italian region. A new registration release is scheduled for Thursday, 10 September, at 9 p.m.
A total of 500 race numbers will be made available during this second phase. The first ten people to register will also gain access to the Gold starting grid. The festival will run over three days, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2027, with a programme focused on cycling and discovering the Garda area.
