Bertoncelli and Menozzi win the Trofeo Isotta Giuseppe Spadi
Bertoncelli and Menozzi took first place at the Trofeo Isotta Giuseppe Spadi, a sport-fishing event held on Sunday 23 August in memory of Giuseppe Isotta.
Seventeen crews took part in the competition, which combined the local sport-fishing tradition with the memory of Giuseppe Isotta. The overall catch included seven pike, 35 perch and one catfish.
Bertoncelli and Menozzi won with two pike weighing 9.720 kilograms in total and three perch weighing 0.316 kilograms. De Bortoli and De Beni placed second with two pike weighing 9.116 kilograms.
Third place went to Savoia, Marcolini and Pippa, whose catch included a 1.916-kilogram pike, eight perch weighing 1.072 kilograms in total and a 3.662-kilogram catfish. Mair and Molignoni were fourth, ahead of Lenotti and Tosetti in fifth.
Mayor Daniele Bertasi and fisheries councillor Martina Meschieri attended the prize-giving on behalf of the local administration.
