Castelnuovo scrive doubles up: book fair returns on 25 and 26 September

Castelnuovo scrive returns for a second edition spread over two days. The book fair in Castelnuovo will be held on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September at the new centre in Via Montini. Following its debut, which focused mainly on local authors, the initiative is opening participation to writers from other areas as well.

The first day will focus on children’s and young adult literature and will form part of the events marking the twentieth anniversary of the Youth Municipal Council. On Saturday 26 September, the programme will instead centre on meetings with authors and presentations of their works, with spaces designed to encourage dialogue between writers and readers.

The fair, conceived by councillor for Culture Chiara Trotti, is not intended as a competition but as an opportunity to meet and engage around writing. Authors interested in taking part can communicate their availability by 4 September.
