Claudia Carzeri, a Lombardy regional councillor, has been appointed regional head of Forza Italia’s organisation. The appointment was officially announced by Alessandro Sorte, the party’s member of parliament and regional secretary, as part of the formation of the team that will accompany Forza Italia through its next political and electoral appointments.
Carzeri thus joins the regional secretariat led by Sorte and takes on responsibility for coordinating the party’s local representatives. Her duties will also include planning and managing local party congresses, described in the statement as key moments for participation, discussion and the organisation’s development.
“I thank regional secretary Alessandro Sorte for his trust and for entrusting me with a particularly important role,” Carzeri said. The regional councillor highlighted the importance of maintaining a presence in local communities and the need to strengthen coordination between the regional level and local organisations.
In her new role, Carzeri said she wanted to enhance the network made up of the party’s elected officials, leaders and activists, as well as the people involved in Forza Italia’s political project in Lombardy. “The organisation is one of the fundamental elements of a party that wants to be present, recognisable and close to its communities,” she said.
The councillor also referred to “months of intensive work” ahead of the political and electoral challenges of 2027, identifying the party’s growth, stronger roots in Lombardy’s provinces and the involvement of new energy as objectives. Carzeri offered the experience she has gained in local communities and institutions, assuring her cooperation with Sorte and the regional team.
Claudia Carzeri is a member of the regional council committees dealing with healthcare, social policy and agriculture, and is chair of the Lombardy Regional Council’s special PNRR committee.
