Desenzano Football Club presents its Lake Garda team

Desenzano Football Club presented the new season at Coco Beach Club in Lonato, with club president Roberto Marai, coach Matteo Gaburro and representatives of the Desenzano del Garda municipal administration in attendance. After securing promotion to Serie C on 6 May, the club is preparing for its first season among the professionals: its debut is scheduled for Sunday 23 August at 6 p.m. at the Silvio Piola Stadium, away to Pro Vercelli.

The evening celebrated the previous season and outlined the club’s latest developments, from the youth academy to the women’s team, as well as the new shirts inspired by the waves of the lake and the slogan “Noi siamo L’Ago”. Desenzano heads into the fixture after winning the Coppa Italia away at Lecco. While its home ground is being adapted, the club’s first home matches will be played at Ospitaletto. The group also includes Lumezzane and Union Brescia, making a total of six derbies between teams from the Brescia area.
