Eating disorders in Lonato: meeting with Ambrosia ETS on 9 September

On 9 September in Lonato, Ambrosia ETS, specialists and a personal testimony will discuss eating disorders during childhood and adolescence.
Eating disorders will be the focus of the meeting “When Eating Becomes Frightening…”, scheduled for Wednesday 9 September at 8.30 pm in the Music Room of the municipal library, at 22 Via Zambelli. The initiative is promoted by the Ambrosia ETS Association under the patronage of the City of Lonato del Garda and addresses Feeding and Eating Disorders, with particular attention to childhood and adolescence.
Among the speakers is Maria Vittoria Ferrajoli, author of “Anorexia… the Mirror That Lied to Blue Eyes”. The sixteen-year-old writer will describe the journey that led her to transform her own experience with anorexia into a book. The evening will also feature Dr Federica Pagani, a child and adolescent neuropsychiatrist and scientific director of Ambrosia ETS, who will examine the clinical and psychological aspects of eating disorders during development.
The discussion will be moderated by journalist and Mindful Eating Trainer Francesca Gardenato, whose work focuses on the relationship between food, awareness and emotional experience. The meeting aims to offer tools for recognising suffering and finding treatment and support pathways, without judgement or alarmism. Admission is free.
