At Forte Garda, “From Rifle to Pencil” exhibition remains open until 11 October

At Forte Garda, in the hills above Riva del Garda on Lake Garda, the “From Rifle to Pencil” exhibition remains open until 11 October 2026. It can be visited throughout September and until mid-October, as part of the programme dedicated to promoting the forts of the Alto Garda area.

The exhibition follows the transformation of tools and perspectives on the history of the area, connecting the fort’s military memory with the value of culture and knowledge. Its title evokes the passage from rifle to pencil as a metaphor for a different way of reading and recounting places.

The “The Forts Tell Their Stories” series also continues at Forte Garda, focusing on the fortification system and its historical events.
