Hiro Tanaka book presentation in Sirmione: “Views from Lake Garda”

The Hiro Tanaka book presentation will take place on Friday, 23 October 2026, from 6 to 8 pm at Palazzo Callas in Sirmione, on Lake Garda. Entitled “Views from Lake Garda”, the event will present the book by Japanese photographer Hiro Tanaka and the photographic project developed as part of the 2025 Sirmione Photo Residency.

The meeting will focus on the work Hiro Tanaka produced during his 2025 photographic residency in Sirmione. The presentation will explore the book and the project gathered under the title “Views from Lake Garda”, placing the Japanese photographer’s perspective on the area at the centre.

Tanaka will be in conversation with Luca Fiore, a journalist, and Ludovica Pellegatta, Partnerships Director at Magnum Photos. Their discussion will accompany the presentation of the volume and offer an opportunity to learn about the photographic journey that emerged from the residency.

Admission is free, but booking is required. The meeting is scheduled for 23 October 2026, from 6 to 8 pm, at Palazzo Callas in Sirmione.
