Sarca clean-up removes 50 kilos of waste near Lake Garda
Volunteers collected 50 kilos of waste during a clean-up of the Sarca, the river that reaches the northern end of Lake Garda, in the Torbole area on Saturday 29 August.
Volunteers from Dai Nèta, Rotte Inverse di Arco, S.O.S. Altissimo di Nago and Canoa Club Trento cleaned the Sarca riverbanks at Torbole on Saturday 29 August, collecting around 50 kilos of plastic, cans, glass bottles and other discarded material.
The initiative was Dai Nèta’s 60th outing and part of the international Alpi in Movimento campaign. Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro supported the operation by providing containers for the collected waste.
